ISS arranged to meet Mr Francis Rwego, the former Head of EAPCCO and at present the Interpol representative at the AU. Coordination and collaboration with Mr. Rwego will be most beneficial for the AU Police work and its linkages to Afripol. Furthermore Mr. Rwego’s outstanding performance whilst heading EAPCCO provides the TfP with a resource person with vast African Police experience. Mr Rwego also attended the two-day GIZ hosted AU Police strategic Planning workshop.
