The Pan-African Parliament co-organized the summit with the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) under the overarching theme: “Enhancing the Role of Young Parliamentarians in Advancing the African Union Shared Values” took place on 12-14 November in Khartoum, Sudan. As part of the planning Committee, Muneinazvo Kujeke had the responsibility to draft the 2017 concept note and program as well as facilitate key sessions on youth, peace and security at the summit. The Summit was attended by up to 200 youth representatives from all African Union member states.
